The Road From Straight Blade To V-Plow I love my new VXF so far and I can't thank CPW enough! I look at my new Snowdogg plow and "almost" cannot wait for winter to come back around. I started plowing as a part time thing to help supplement my income after the paper mill I worked at shut down and I had to take a lesser paying job over an hour's drive away from home. Three years later I was able to come back home to work for another mill and make more than I had before, so instead of taking pay for plowing services, I started trading for a few welding, and other jobs. I won't ever go back to a straight blade on my truck! I was able to use one of my buddy's trucks to plow for him a few times, he has a couple V's for his snowplowing and welding business, and I have wanted one of my own for some time but have not been able to justify buying one for myself. My buddy Greg says he may not be plowing snow and possibly spending his winters down South. He is starting an excavating and food plot planting business for deer hunters this summer and fall. I have an offer to buy his dump truck and front-end loader and go into a snowplowing business for myself, and I would already have quite a few clients to take over as well. We will see if we can afford to do that later this year, keeping my fingers crossed as it sure would be nice to make enough money at it to spend future winters in Florida as well! |
